Magazine Cover Chosen Layout

Above is an image which shows the chosen layout of my music magazine. I have chosen to go with placing my masthead at the top of my magazine to make it stand out and show my audience what my music magazine is called. I may be looking to include a slogan with this masthead, but I will be deciphering this in a later stage when I create some mock ups using my layout. I have decided to place my main heading in the middle of the front cover because I believe that this is the best place to catch the audiences attention; hence they will look at the picture which is placed across the middle of the cover and is eye-catching. Finally I will be including smaller pictures at the bottom of my cover which may a small amount of text with them. These pictures are there to represent smaller stories which correspond with my main picture.
