Magazine Contents Chosen Layout

Above is an image which shows my chosen layout for my music magazine's contents page. For the contents page, I have chosen to go with a very basic layout. However, basic is not always bad and I can tell this by looking at the contents pages that I have already analyed in my work. The basic layout that I have chosen to go with was by having a main heading at the top of the page and then just spliting the page in half for an even share of text and pictures; hence why it is basic yet effective. I will be putting the layout of my contents page to the test when I begin to practice with it by designing mock ups.
